The fun thing about QU words is that you can form words by adding any of the other four vowels after it. Take the letter A, for example. This gives you words like QUARTER and EQUATE. Move on to the letter E and you can make Q words like QUESTION and TOQUE. Do you see how words with Q and U don’t have to start with those two letters? They can show up in the middle too, though no words end in QU. 

Following the same pattern with the letters I and O produces even more Scrabble® words with Q and U. They can come in QUITE handy, even if you keep QUIET about them. But, don’t just QUOTE us on that! Lay down your letter tiles like the lumber of a mighty SEQUOIA tree. It’s easy enough to QUANTIFY the QUALITY of your efforts, piling on those points with QU words like no one’s business.
