Find Five-Letter Words Ending In…

You’re playing your favorite word game, and you’re stumped on a five-letter word ending in a specific letter. We’ve all experienced the frustration, which is why we’ve created tools to help. Whether you’re playing Scrabble, Wordle, Words With Friends, or something else, our word finder can give you the perfect five-letter word for your winning play.

How to Use Our Five-Letter Word Finder

No one has infinite time to play word games, no matter how fun (and educational) they are. Don’t waste that precious game time on a struggle we can help with. After all, as the adage goes, “Work smarter, not harder.”

Our tool is really easy to use and gives you instant results. Here’s how to find five-letter words ending in specific letters:

  1. Enter your letters. Input up to five letters in the exact ending position you want to use.
  2. Click “Generate”. Get instant results. You’ll see every five-letter word you can make ending in those letters.
  3. Choose your game. Pick the specific game you’re playing. This lets you see only the words that are legal for that game. We’re here with lists for Scrabble, Words With Friends, and all your other favorites.

Tips to Find Five-Letter Words Ending In These Letters

We’ve made this tool really easy to use (because we love word games so much), but there are some tips that can help make it even more useful:

  • Tell us every ending letter you know. You can get more specific results by narrowing your search using more letters. For instance, there are over 500 five-letter words ending in T, but there are only around a dozen that end in “ART”.
  • Sort to make the list more useful. Sometimes, you don’t want to skim a list of words to find just what you need, so we made it really easy to sort alphabetically, reverse alphabetically, or by points.
  • Select your game. Make sure the list only includes the words that are legal for the game you’re playing by picking the specific game. For example, there are 13 “ART” words for Words With Friends, but only 11 “ART” words for Scrabble in the US.
